Lyn Antley went to Art school with the intention of becoming a Textile designer, but after taking a jewellery course, knew she wanted to work with metal.
Lyn creates jewellery from Silver, Gold and Platinum that is inspired by her travels to America, Australia, Germany, Austria, Norway and most recently Japan.
Fairy stories are a huge inspiration to her work also and poetry that she adores, especially Shakespeare, Tennyson and Japanese Haiku Poetry. Many of the pieces are strongly connected to dreams, wishes and magic. Ultimately Lyn wants to evoke whimsy and humour, love and joy through the use of her imagination, which will visually delight the wearer.
